Granlibakken Resort and Conference Center Tahoe City travel guide

Granlibakken Lodge is located in a secluded valley on 74-acres. They are about 1 hour from Reno/Tahoe International Airport and 1 mile from Tahoe City, California and the area's top ski resorts including Squaw Valley USA, Northstar-at-Tahoe, Alpine Meadows, Homewood Mountain Resort, Sugar Bowl and Sierra-at-Tahoe. In the winter, Granlibakken features its own beginner ski hill and sledding hill on-site. A ski school, snow-play area, rental shop, warming hut and snack bar are also available. Guest have easy access to popular cross-country trailheads, which provide miles of ungroomed skiing and snowshoeing terrains. Clearly there's plenty of nearby Sierra terrain to explore year round. In the summer you will be walking distance to the Tahoe Rim Trail, Pacific Crest Trail and just 1/2 mile from Lake Tahoe. There is excellent biking, hiking, kayaking and more for nearby summer activities.

Granlibakken Lodge offers a wide variety of lodging options including studios, suites and one-to-six bedroom townhouses, each decorated to complement the resort's natural setting. All guests have access to the sauna, hot tub and heated outdoor pool. All lodging reservations include a hot buffet breakfast each day. Guests can also arrange airport pickup from Reno/Tahoe international Airport or the Tahoe/Truckee Airport for a fee.
