Numerous city centre attractions and vibrant Temple Bar are just minutes away, whilst notable places of interest nearby include Guinness Brewery, Phoenix Park, National Museum of Ireland, Dublin Zoo and The Chimney - Smithfield Village. Please Note:** Currently the hotel is undergoing minor renovations, which will not affect the stay of the client. **The older part of the Ashling Hotel on Parkgate Street will be undergoing building works involving a major transformation and will result in 130 new deluxe bedrooms, a stylish new restaurant and bar along with a fabulous new facade.Works will commence on Monday 14th January 2008 and take approximately twelve months. During the construction phase it will be “business as usual” albeit on a smaller scale (70 bedrooms) and with some necessary changes to allow the works to take place. From Monday 14th January 2008 the hotel entrance will be accessed from Montpelier Hill at the rear of Parkgate Street. Don’t worry it will be well sign posted!! We will also be operating Cobblestones Bistro and our Guinness Lounge bar from here so no need for anyone to go hungry or thirsty!! Our multi storey car park (free to residents) will be in operation as usual along with several meeting rooms.During the period of construction we will be doing everything to minimise any possible disturbance or disruption to guests.
