General information:Copenhagen Admiral Hotel is housed in a more than 200-year-old grain-drying warehouse from 1787. The grain-drying warehouse, built by the merchant company Pingel, Meyer, Pr�torius ' Co, has been historically preserved. The warehouse is built from the finest raw-materials, and in all its architectural splendour stands as an eloquent testimonial to the prosperous trading period of the 1780s. The building�s impressive joists are made of pine from the great forests of Pomerania, today northern Germany and Poland. Location:For centuries, this building and location on the waterfront have been at the epicentre of amazing events. Area:When you stay at the Copenhagen Admiral Hotel you are close to the most exciting sights in Copenhagen.Eight minutes to Langelinie with the imposing Gefion fountain and a little further out: The Little Mermaid. Neighbour to Amalienborg (the Queen's Palace) with the Changing of the Guard at 12 noon when the Queen is in residence.Twenty Nine minutes to the Tivoli Gardens if you walk through Str�get and cross the Town Hall Square (six minutes by car)Recreation:Private Wellness:At the top floor you find the hotel�s �Private Wellness� area - for the hotel�s guests only.The area has just been innovated with sauna, walk-in shower and steam bath, with room for up to four persons and can be rented for an hour from 9am to 10.30 pm. The cost per hour is DKK 50-200 depending of number of persons. Incl. exquisite bath towels and mineral water.When you feel like pamper yourself you can also order massage, manicure etc. at the reception.Rooms:Staying the night at Admiral Hotel is an experience in its own right. None of our rooms are identical. The grand, rustic wooden beams give the rooms individuality and a golden glow. The interior design is also worth mentioning. In cooperation with Danish furniture classic designers Trip Trap, we have decorated each room with custom-made furniture of solid teak. All rooms have a sophisticated TV , video-on-demand, telephone, e-mail and Internet access, mini bar, hair-dryer, 24-hour room and snack service as well washing, dry cleaning and 1-hour ironing service.
