Greetings from Mountain Ranch Resort! We are a family owned and operated AAA, three-diamond resort. You'll find us just six miles East of Williams on I-40, situated on 35 privately owned acres surrounded by the tall, cool, ponderosa pines bordering the Kaibab National Forest. We are the only full service resort in the Williams area. We are centrally located in the heart of several exciting attractions. The most famous is Grand Canyon, just one hour north of us. Williams, with the authentic steam train to the Grand Canyon, is only ten minutes west. Oak Creek Canyon and Sedona are 80 miles southeast. Flagstaff and Northern Arizona University are just 25 miles to the East. We are in a prime location with easy driving access to a variety of attractions. Plus, as you read on, you'll see we offer several attractions of our own! Our resort has 73 units with in-room coffee, direct TV (with free HBO and ESPN), or you can take advantage of our VCR and movie rentals. All of our rooms have new furnishings for 2003! Our grounds boast an outdoor heated pool and spa (seasonal), two tennis courts, volleyball, horseshoe pit, basketball, a putting green, and cookouts mid May to mid September (10 person minimum). We have a unique Southwestern Gift Shop with souvenirs. Dine with us at The Ranch Bar And Grill. Enjoy your meal in a cozy booth, a table, or up at the bar. Breathtaking views of sunsets over the San Francisco Peaks are just the beginning of the offerings from our warm and inviting unique western atmosphere restaurant. Enjoy delicious entrees from fish to filet mignon, to sandwiches and soups. We offer a great selection for everyone. Our banquet room will seat up to 250 people. You can relive the Old West the way it was meant to be, by booking a horseback ride at our Mountain Ranch Stables. Guided rides take you into the tall, quiet pines where you may see a variety of wildlife, including elk and deer, and sometimes black bear have been sighted! We provide you with an experienced trail horse perfectly matched for every riding level, so you can sit back, relax, and enjoy Arizona beauty at its best - on horseback! Our Mountain Ranch Roundup, better known as our Wild West BBQ, has been a favorite of many of our travel partners. Self guided nature trails through the Kaibab Forest are a year round favorite. You and your family can also saddle up and take magnificent scenic horseback rides. When our cowboys (and cowgals) are not out guiding hourly Horseback or Hay Rides, they are available for your private Wild West Shows and Entertainment. The Quality Inn Mountain Ranch Resort is open from April through October. All of our spacious rooms have either two double beds or one king size bed. All have new furnishings for 2003!
