This Sofitel Alexandria Cecil is a six-storey Art Deco hotel built in 1929 and set overlooking the yachting harbour in Alexandria's business district, two kilometres from the Roman heritage sites. The 86 traditionally furnished guestrooms are characterised by high ceilings and chandeliers with rich burgundy and gold fabrics and dark-wood furnishings.
