Welcome to Hotel De Looier. Our hotel was originally built as a diamond factory in 1886 and was turned into a 3 star hotel in 2001. All rooms come with private showers and toilet- direct telephone and color cable TV with free movies 24 hours per day. For our business guests we have fax- telex- courier service and much more. Our leisure guests can also enjoy their stay. De Looier is located right in the city centre of Amsterdam- in the popular area known as the Jordaan. The hotel is situated on a quiet street at only a 5 minute walk from the main entertainment area of Leidseplein- where you will find rock in roll out cafe- hundreds of restaurants- bars- discos- coffee shops- the casino and much more. The most important museums such as the Rijks- Van Gogh and the Museum of Modern Art are at a 5 minute walk. Anna Frank House is a 10 minute walk. Additional information; Children age 4 and under stay free in the room with parents and in existing bedding. Children age 5-11 receive a 50 pct reduction. Children over this age will be considered an adult.
