Des Iles Hotel Essaouira travel guide

Built in the 1950s, the Hotel des Iles is situated beside the entrance to the old walled city and faces the bay and sandy beaches. The 75 guestrooms all include balconies, satellite television with premium channels, direct-dial phones, Internet connections, minibars, tea and coffee making facilities and complimentary newspapers. Guests can stroll to the beach opposite the hotel, or travel further afield to Marrakech, 175 kilometres away. Marrakech Menara Airport is also 175 kilometres away, with an approximate driving time of 120 minutes.

Please note there is a compulsory gala dinner held at the hotel on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. The cost of entrance to this is included in the hotel rates for the 24th and 31st of December.
