Location. The modern Apex International Hotel is opposite 14th-century Edinburgh Castle in central Edinburgh, Scotland. The Museum of Scotland, the Royal Mile and Princes Street's shops are within 500 metres. Edinburgh Waverley Station is 700 metres, approximately 10 minutes' walk away.
Hotel Features. The contemporary Apex International Hotel is flanked by historic buildings on the cobbled street Grassmarket. The cream and chocolate brown lobby has leather sofas, polished tile floors and modern art.
Offering panoramic Edinburgh Castle views, Heights restaurant serves modern Scottish and international dishes in minimalist surroundings. The informal Metro split-level brasserie and bar has leather benches and plasma screen television. Guests can sample international flavours in the brasserie or sip cocktails in the upper-level bar overlooking bustling Grassmarket.

Expert Tip. Five hundred metres from the hotel, guided tours of The Real Mary King's Close take visitors through an underground network of Edinburgh's 16th-century passageways beneath the Royal Mile.
