Dating back to 1625 and located across from Ripons majestic cathedral, The Old Deanery is steeped in history. Built on the site of a former monastery of St Wilfred, Lewis Carroll spent a lengthy time here during the early 19th century. The interior of The Old Deanery has been completely revamped, accommodating a stylish new restaurant on the ground floor, serving, breakfast, morning coffee, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. Our award-winning chefs offer an eclectic range of delights, from speciality fish to locally inspired creations, and an extensive collection of cellar wines are available to complement your meal. Dinner is served every evening except Sunday.
