Beautiful beaches wherever you are

Located on the Costa Blanca, on the east side of Spain, is the culturally rich city of Alicante. Easy to reach with an airport just 20 minutes away from the city center, it is a perfect place for a vacation. It offers miles of sandy and clean beaches, sightseeing attractions -- such as Spanish churches and cathedrals -- and great shopping possibilities. Alicante is not only a tourist’s paradise – also many Spaniards come to the Costa Blanca to enjoy the warm weather and long beaches.

There are three beaches: San Juan Beach, Explanada d’Espanya and Saladares. The first one is very easy to reach because of good public transport and therefore the busiest beach in Alicante. A day spent there is unforgettable. You definitely have to make use of the water sports offered. It does not matter whether you rent a speed boat, go surfing or take a ride on the banana boat – fun is guaranteed. Explanada d’Espanya is a part of the harbor and a must for yacht fans. You can sit outside a harbor cafeteria and watch the yacht owners cleaning their decks. If you rather want to go shopping, you can walk down the promenade and will find boulevards full of shopping possibilities. The longest beach in Alicante is Saladares. It is about 2 kilometers long and ideal for people who just want to relax. Watch out: Once you visit Alicante, you will never want to go home again.
