This spa hotel is located in the heart of the city, surrounded by all the major historical sites, such as the cathedral ''Sinagoga Sta Maria la Blanca'', the Monastery of San Juan de los Reyes, and the Museo de Sto Tome. A wide range of bars, the Restaurante Adolfo, and the tourist centre are also situated in the immediate vicinity. Guests will reach the Museo del Greco in about 700 m, the bus station in approximately 1.5 km, and shops in Luz del Tajo in some 7 km. Barajas airport is 90 km from the hotel, with a range of transfer possibilities available. A trip to Madrid, about 60 km away, is recommended to those with a hire car. This deluxe hotel, which was once owned by the Empress Eugenia de Montijo, was renovated by a prestigious team of architects, archaeologists and restorers. The result of the refurbishment is a marvellous Renaissance palace where the three cultures that lived in Toledo can be appreciated in different parts of the hotel. The air-conditioned building comprises a total of 40 rooms, of which one is a suite, two are junior suites, and three are disability-friendly rooms. Guests are welcomed in the lobby area with a reception desk manned around the clock, a hotel safe, a cloakroom, and lift access. Further facilities here include a cafe, a shop, a bar, a breakfast room, and a restaurant. Also available is a conference room, a public Internet connection, and a W-LAN access point (charges apply). It is possible to take advantage of the room and laundry services (charges apply) as well as the bicycle storage room. Remaining parts of the original facade and structure were meticulously restored during renovation work. All guests will find relaxation in the luxurious spa, and Adolfo Munoz, the most renowned restauranteur in Toledo, offers fine cuisine for the most refined palates.Coming from Madrid, head onto the A42 to Toledo. When arriving in Toledo, take the lane heading for Toledo Centro - Mocejon (second exit indicating Toledo centro). At the first roundabout take the second exit marked Estacion de Autobuses . At the second roundabout take the second exit marked Estacion de Autobuses and at the third roundabout take the second exit towards Ronda. Remain in the direction of Toledo centro, at the traffic light go straight through, keep on going straight until arriving at Calle de los Descalzos, turn right, go straight and at the end of Calle Taller del Moro take a right, go straight and take a right. The hotel is in Plaza Juego de Pelota on the right hand side. Coming from Ciudad Real take the N-401. When arriving in Toledo take exit 73, direction Toledo. Once in the city, at the first roundabout (Santa Barbara) go straight through. Keep on going straight through Puente Azarquiel. At the second roundabout take a left, towards Ronda. Then go straight, marked Toledo centro, and at the traffic light go straight through, keep on going straight until arriving at Calle de los Descalzos, turn right, go straight and at the end of Calle Taller del Moro take a right, go straight and take a right. The hotel is in Plaza Juego de Pelota on the right hand side.
