Kingsgate Terraces Hotel Queenstown travel guide

A good standard hotel. the location is excellent as its away from the very busy town centre, but close enough to walk into town. the views from the rooms and balconies are its prime attraction. se0706. the four storey building is 1980's in design (renovated 1998), and is in a gradient style so that all rooms have private balconies with magnificent views. all the rooms have private terraces with superb views of lake wakatipu and the remarkables mountain range. they are medium in size and along with the bathrooms are in very good condition. some of the rooms also have kitchenettes. room have standard inclusions such as tv, cable channels, tea/coffee making facilities, and hair dryers. hillary's restaurant serves breakfast and dinner, menus is predominantly western cuisine. the lobby is medium in size. this hotel is located only five minutes walk from the town centre and ten minutes drive to queenstown airport. the road is quite busy but this is compensated for by the views from the hotel.
