The central location of Fosshótel Baron is superb, a few meters from Reykjavík’s shopping street and next to the seashore, a short walk from Reykjavík’s harbour. Super market is located next door to Fosshotel Baron, ideal for our self-catering hotel apartmens guests.

66 standard rooms (18-22 m²), built in 2002, have free wireless internet connection, security box and a beautiful city or ocean view.

21 historical rooms (16-18 m²). Nice & cosy, located under the roof with skylight windows and are decorated in a 1890-1910 style, themed after the French Baron that lived in this building.

Fosshotel Baron features a breakfast room, bar and restaurant, elevator, internet corner, tour desk, laundry & free parking are on site. All guestrooms and restaurant/bar facilities are non-smoking.

Recently opened, our restaurant GRÝTAN is the first Shabu Shabu (Hot Pot) restaurant in Iceland. This eastern cooking style is becoming increasingly more popular in Europe and America and no wonder! It is fun, healthy and different - but at last and not least - very tasty.
