Santa Teresa Gallura (4681 inhabitants, as of December 31, 2005) is the northernmost town in Sardinia in the new province of Olbia-Tempio. In addition to numerous restaurants, hotels and shops in town you can find two small beaches. Larger sandy beaches are about 8 km outside the town at the tourist village Rena Majors and still be found 10-20 km on the road to the Costa Paradiso.
