Calangute travel guide

Calangute is a census town in North Goa in the state of Goa, India. It is famous for its beach, visited by domestic and international tourists alike. The peak tourist season is during Christmas and New Year, and during the summer in May. In the monsoon season, June through September, the sea can be rough, and swimming is prohibited.
To the north lies Baga, and south Candolim. Calangute remains warm through the year with little temperature fluctuations. Languages spoken include Konkani, English and Hindi. On the beach water sports are offered, like Water-scooters, para-sailing, and "banana boats". (...) more....
