Jesenice travel guide

Jesenice (Aßling) is a town and a municipality in Slovenia, on the Slovene side of the Karavanke mountain range, south of Austria. It is known for the biggest Slovenian steel making company and its ice hockey club, Acroni Jesenice. It got its name from the ash tree (jesen in Slovenian).
