Samara travel guide

Samara is a small beach village with great weather, a beautiful beach and great, lovely people right at the pacific coast of Costa Rica.

Playa Samara is located at the pacific coast of Costa Rica at the Nicoya Peninsula in Guanacaste.
It is just an hour bus ride from Nicoya City and will meet all your needs and wants when coming there for a relaxing and fun time at the beach.
Samara is a beach paradise offering budget hotels, apartments and bed&breakfasts and many services and activities.
It as ha 6km beach with many surf schools, great bars and restaurants and the locals are extremely friendly. Here you can just enjoy the day with a good book or have a badita (fruit shake) in one of the beach bars / beach restaurants. At night you can watch the amazing sunset and have a wine in on of the restaurants or bars on or within walking distance from the beach.
They have also a language school which offers Spanish lessons and English lessons. They offer many activities also outside of the school schedule.
In the town you can find many stores, great restaurants and supermarkets.
It is also in a great location to make day trips to the close by beaches (Nosara, Carrillo, Guiones, Pelada) or cities like Nicoya or Tamarindo.

The owner has been living in this area for a couple of years and knows a lot about Samara and its surroundings. Just get you free copy when you get here to make you stay a little easier.

At night there are many options to go out. Even though it doesn't seem that way, the village has a lot to offer. And the best thing about it, everything is within walking distance.
