Montagu travel guide

Montagu is a town in the Western Cape province of South Africa. The town is name after former secretary of the Cape Colony, John Montagu.
It is 180km from Cape Town on the Route 62 scenic route. Montagu is a tourist destination, known for its hot mineral springs and great scenic beauty. It is an agricultural centre, where orchards and vineyards are in production and local herbs are grown. Nearby rock formations make it one of the country's major mountain climbing centres.
