(09/04 ps).<br/><br/>it is modern, three storey building in white concrete trimmed in golden and red colours. the central entrance has a further two rooms built above it, so it reaches to five stories and is crowed by a khmer style. the two wings, conjoined at the central entrance also sport traditional khmer style roofing which lends some character to what would otherwise be a fairly bland building.<br/><br/>rooms in the new wing are medium sized (24 square metres) and are furnished with all modern amenities: air-conditioning, private bathroom with hot & cold water, satellite tv, international direct dial telephone and mini bar, safety box is available at the front desk. darkwood local khmer furnitures and modern fabrics are used and the whole is adequate without being remarkable. rooms in the old wing are the same sized and have same decor as that found in the new wing. bathroom is in medium size with black granite zink and generally clean. most single rooms are on the ground floor while twin rooms are on the higher floor up. the hotel also has real solid 3 separate bed for real triple room. the suite rooms are larger with the same decor and stunning view of angkor wat.<br/><br/>it is the elegant restaurant and dining is a great pleasure at its spacious. the one restaurant/breakfast room is large but very bland in arrangement and decor-like a high school refectory.<br/><br/>it is spacious enough for group check in, with available seatings in large size of rattan chair style either in the main lobby with the reception or the side lobby in the old wing near the restaurant. the refreshment bar is also available on the left hand side and a souvenir shop on the right. decor is spartan but they do have a large diagram/map of the angkor ruins. there are several photos showing their more illustrious guests with the hotel owner.<br/><br/>the hotel is situated in the midway between airport and siem reap town. not far from the main tourist attractions.
