Conceived by mega millionaire Laurance S. Rockefeller in 1956, the Caneel Bay, a Rosewood Resort, located on St. John Island, has long been one of the premier resorts in the Caribbean Sea. Guests come here to disconnect in the pristine, natural surroundings and low-key luxury. Seven white-sandy beaches border 170 acres where the hotel's accommodations blend into the landscape.
