Bokissa Eco Island is a boutique resort situated on its own privately owned island of 175 acres of dense rainforest and has only native flora and fauna. From Port Vila, guests take a VanAir (part of Air Vanuatu) flight to Santo. The airplane takes one hour and twenty minutes to fly to Santo. There are generally two flights a day. The entire island and surrounding waters of Bokissa are privately owned. Bokissa coral reefs are some the most accessible and undisturbed shallow-water reefs in Vanuatu.
Hotel amenities include the 25-meter, freshwater pool, shaded swim-up pool bar, in-house scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaks, health massage center, rainforest walks, bird watching, library, hammocks, tours, restaurant, bar, souvenirs shop, outdoor giant chess board, boles, board games, billiard table, island church, Internet facility, double filtered rainwater throughout, and 24-hour power.
All rooms feature tea and coffee facilities, mini-fridges, ceiling fans, air-conditioning, desks and chairs, rainwater showers and taps, instant gas hot water, hairdryers, and decks with recliner chairs, hammocks, and gardens. The resort has its own high-tech treatment facility to preserve the environment and the quality of the coastal waters and coral reefs.
Please note that the resort only accepts reservations for adults and children 12 and over.

Iceland, officially the Republic of Iceland (Ísland or Lýðveldið Ísland; ˈliðvɛltɪð ˈistlant) is a country in northern Europe, comprising the island of Iceland and its outlying islets in the North Atlantic Ocean between the rest of Europe and Greenland. It is the least populous of the Nordic countries and the second smallest; it has a population of about 313,000 and a total area of 103,000 km². Its capital and largest city is Reykjavík.
Due to its location on the Mid-Atlantic Ridge, Iceland is volcanically and geologically active on a large scale; this defines the landscape in various ways. The interior mainly consists of a plateau characterized by sand fields, mountains and glaciers, while many big glacial rivers flow to the sea through the lowlands. Due to the Gulf Stream, Iceland has a temperate climate relative to its latitude and provides a habitable environment and nature.
The settlement of Iceland began in 874 when, according to Landnámabók, the Norwegian chieftain Ingólfur Arnarson became the first permanent Norwegian settler on the island. Others had visited the island earlier and stayed over winter. Over the next centuries, people of Nordic and Gaelic origin settled in Iceland. Until the twentieth century, the Icelandic population relied on fisheries and agriculture, and was from 1262 to 1944 a part of the Norwegian and later the Danish monarchies.
