Historically, Adams Morgan was one of the first neighborhoods in the city to successfully integrate, with Adams representing the black part of town and Morgan representing the white part. There are proud reminders of this fact throughout the neighborhood, but most people these days know Adams Morgan because of its party reputation. With bars and restaurants lining each side of 18th St., there is a scene for everyone (which explains the throngs of people here on weekend nights). Don't forget to get some of the legendary 'jumbo slice' before you head home.
