Hidden beach best free beach in New York, at the Rockaways in Brooklyn, easy to get to and absolutely lovely and quiet

A surprisingly quiet place to get out of the city - while still being able to see it's skyline. Fort Tilden is actually hard to access, and their are no amenities. But it's a fun adventure!

This is my favourite beach to go to. Its close and off the beaten path. Dubbed the hidden beach because only a few people know about it usually by word of mouth. Its quiet and romantic, not too many people. bring your own food, since there are no stores close by,
