Baker Lake or Qamani’tuaq (where the river widens) (2006 Population 1,728) (Inuktitut syllabics:ᖃᒪᓂᑦᑐᐊᖅ), is a hamlet, Kivalliq Region, in Nunavut on mainland Canada. The 2008 Rand McNally Road Atlas shows a new name of Qamani'tuaq, but its status as official is not known. Located 320 kilometers inland from Hudson Bay, it is near the nation's geographical centre. As of the 2006 census the population increased 14.7% from the 2001 census. The hamlet is located at the mouth of the Thelon River on the shore of Baker Lake.

A small hospital was built in 1957, followed by a regional school the next year. The settlement is served by Baker Lake Airport, linking it to the nearby coastal town of Rankin Inlet.
