Sturgeon Bay is an arm of the Bay of Green Bay extending southeastward approximately 10 miles into the Door Peninsula at the city of Sturgeon Bay, located approximately halfway up the Door Peninsula. Not a big town, but has all the necessities and then some. Very good start point for taking what we called the "Peninsula Loop". Lots of shipping history and a few lighthouses to see.
