At the top of town is the Iglesia de Santo Tomás Apostol, with an impressive portal decorated with scenes of the crucifixion flanked by the Evangelists. Inside it’s gloomy and lofty; an ornate organ the most impressive feature. The balconied tower is also attractive. Have a peek at the noble house next door, with its twisted salomónica columns and a large coat-of-arms with a very strange base.

Bus
Haro’s bus station is situated in the Casa de Cune. To Logroño (1 hr, 7 daily, 3 on Sun), Burgos and Santander (1 daily) , Laguardia (40 mins, 3 daily), Vitoria (1 hr, 4 daily), Bilbao (1 hr 15 mins, 4 daily), Santo Domingo de la Calzada (4 daily, 1 on Sun) and Nájera (2 daily).
Train
