New Hyde Park is a village in Nassau County, New York, United States, on Long Island. The population of the Village of New Hyde Park was 9,523 at the 2000 census. Like its neighboring communities, it is primarily a commuter town with over 75% of the land used for single family residential, but also has warehouses and light manufacturing near the railroad station and a retail district along Jericho Turnpike.
