Foxborough travel guide

Foxborough (sometimes abbreviated as Foxboro) is a town in Norfolk County, Massachusetts, approximately 30 miles (48 km) southwest of Boston and 20 miles (32 km) northeast of Providence, Rhode Island. The population was 16,246 at the 2000 census. The town is best known as the site of Gillette Stadium, home of the New England Patriots of the National Football League and the New England Revolution of Major League Soccer. Foxborough is the official spelling of the town name, although the alternative spelling Foxboro is also frequently used.
