Greer Travel Guide

Greer is an unincorporated community in Apache County, Arizona, United States. It lies at an elevation of approximately 8,600 feet amid forests of both conifer and broadleaf trees populated by many different kind of animals. Greer is located near the town of Eagar in the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest. Its position in the valley of the White River near various lakes means that temperatures are significantly milder than surrounding areas. The Sunrise Park Resort, a skiing resort, is located approximately half an hour's drive away.
While it is over a four hour drive from the Phoenix valley, it remains one of the most popular summer destinations as it is consistently 20-30 degrees colder. (...) more....
