Kitsilano or Kits is a former hippie area, and has a vibrant, cosmopolitan vibe. Kits beach, with its large swimming pool is a great place to hang out. If you're in the mood, take in one of the museums, the Maritime or Vancouver Museums or the Planetarium. Kits is where everyone can find something to eat - the area is a choc-a-bloc full of restaurants, cafes and bars -stroll around to see what catches your fancy. Also, amid the many mainstream stores, there are some small boutiques and home-stores that are worth exploring. Enjoy!
