Just a short ride from downtown the Capilano Suspension Bridge spans 450 feet across the Capilano River. Be sure to visit the Totem Park for representations of Native American art. There are also a variety of restaurants and cafés on the premises.

Probably the most touristy place in Vancouver. Very expensive, just head to Lynn Canyon and you'll get a similar suspension bridge for free but without hordes of bus tourists.
