A visit at the front garden of Eden with picturesque waterfalls
One of the most beautiful waterfalls of Jamaica can be found in the hinterland, near Black River. The waterfalls are private property which can only be seen by taking a guided tour. Further exploration is done on your own initiative and by foot. The Y. S. River falls down to the valley about 15 steps. You can comfortably climb a well-maintained trail, staying perfectly dry. Y. S. Falls are not spectacular but enchantingly beautiful. They remind one of Eden and they are not overrun by tourists.
