Mazagan: The Portugese district of El-Jadida is far away from the inrush of tourists

The provincial capital south of Casablanca is primarily worth a visit because of the Portuguese fortress Mazagan which is also called Cité Portugaise. It is protected as a world heritage site. Two gates and a very well-preserved cistern with a Gothic ribbed vault are a must for every visitor of El Jadida. You can stay in the Palais Andalous.
