The land for the new district was taken from the sea
The young district Marina City on this land taken from the sea is slowly growing. With the cultural centre Esplanade Theatres on the Bay and the mega-modern night life mile One Fullerton an artificial heart was created, the new Downtown. A drive with “Ducktours” which starts at Suntec City is all the rage. The unusual sightseeing tour is offered in modified amphibious vehicles from an American army inventory.
