Toronto's share of massive Lake Ontario is home to the Toronto Islands. Connected to the mainland by ferries, this island chain has become a popular spot for residents and tourists to get away from it all due to their charm and lovely city views. The islands are a car-free zone, but cycles, canoes, and people are welcome.
