Chinatown

In 1878, Sam Ching opened a laundromat on Adelaide Street. By 1910, there were over a thousand Chinese in Toronto. Today, Toronto's Chinatown has become of North America's biggest Chinese enclaves. Bargain shopping, bilingual signs, and delicious Chinese specialties like dim sum make this neighborhood an absorbing place to spend an afternoon.
