Cultural treasures from China and modern art from Hong Kong

This new building at the southern tip of Kowloon reveals Hong Kong's cultural ambitions. Wealthy collectors have bestowed the museum with a great many masterpieces of classical Chinese art, including brush painting and calligraphy as well as sculptures, lacquerware, jade, bronze, ceramics, and textile art. One section of the 60,000 square feet of exhibition space is dedicated to interesting works of contemporary Hong Kong art.
