Established in 1928, the Peninsula Hotel is the epitome of colonial grandeur. Many people still adore coming here to experience a glimmer of the elegant client that stayed in the lap of luxury. These days the décor feels a bit outdated and uncomfortable, but it’s still worth a visit to at least experience the hotel’s famous high tea in the lobby bar.
