Központi Vásárcsarnok (Central Market Hall) is the biggest market halls in Budapest. Reconstructed in 1995, this magnificent, three-level market hall is a great place to get a dose of the real Hungary. You can find everything here from fresh produce to great deals on saffron and dried mushrooms. The mezzanine level offers a variety of food vendors and folk-art booths, while the basement houses fishmongers, pickled goods and a comprehensive selection of spices and imported Asian import foods.
