Rain Forest Aerial Tramway amid the treetops

60 km northeast of Heredia, on the new road to Limón, in the middle of banana plantations, lies this almost invisible town from which you can hike along the river and valley of the northeast section of the Cordillera Central. There is also the Rain Forest Aerial Tramway (teleférico), which takes tourists into and then back out of the rainforest in 90 minutes with lots of stops.
