Harajuku means street fashion, youthful creativity and creations for the youth. Fashion scouts from all over the world walk through the boutiques of Takeshita-Dori, the fashion mile of the kids which starts at the rear exit of the station, in Cat Street, where designer shops are located harmoniously next to grocery stores, elegant furniture shops and tattoo studios. However, Harajuku, is also Omotesando, the Champ Elysées of Tokyo, lined with trees, a strolling boulevard with international flair.
