Even morning grouches should get out of bed real early at least once to experience one of the greatest spectacles Tokyo has to offer: the fish market Tsukiji, the largest in the world. From tiny crabs to gigantic tuna – about 3 tons of more than a hundred different species of fish change hands in about one hour. There is also a lot to see around the fish market: the little shops which offer everything which has to do with fish and of course many restaurants with the freshest fish available.
