3000 stone and bronze lanterns lighten up the Nara Park

The attraction of the clan shrine of Fujiwara which was founded in the 8th century is the lantern way with 3000 stone and bronze lamps. They are switched on twice a year at the festival of Mantoro. A traditional dance performance takes place in the apple garden on the respective last day.
