One of the hippest and youngest neighborhoods in Brooklyn - though pretentious because of its funky reputation.

Though mullets and neon clothing are things of the past in other parts of the world, they are alive and well in this little hipster heaven in Brooklyn: welcome to Williamsburg, NYC's answer to London's Shoreditch and Hoxton. With food, bars and clubs rivaling the best that Manhattan has to offer, Williamsburg has become one of the premier destinations for those seeking a more laid-back, artsy scene. Though some say that the rampant gentrification in the neighborhood has caused Williamsburg to lose its soul, the people-watching on Bedford Ave. alone is worth the trek on the L train.
