Tourist-y, but great people-watching
Union Square is a massive pedestrianized area bounded by upscale department stores, theaters and hotels. Though this makes it inherently touristy, Union Square is a good place to begin any day in San Francisco - it's close to Chinatown and on pretty much every bus route in the city. This is also a great lunch spot, as there are numerous benches around and around-the-clock people-watching.

Very nice area and living. To find a hotel and shopping fans. I recommend the hotel or shelter I'm staying. Hospitality, comfort and price combine to help make the visit more enjoyable SF.
