The Getty Center's main draw is the incredible museum. There are constantly new exhibits going in and out of the Getty, so check the website to see what's new. Included in the exhibitions are movies shown on a regular basis.
There are also many workshops and classes available to students and teachers.
The Getty center does a lot of conservation research.

dominik2008-11-14The Getty is by far one of my most favorite places in LA, and one of the greatest museums in the world. An absolute must see! Slightly hard to get there - try to avoid rush hour and to get parking in the Museums own lot to make it easier. Than enjoy the breathtaking architecture in this unique setting with a beautiful view. Amongst all of that, its almost hard to not to forget about the usually great exhibitions.
