Royal Road travel guide

After the destruction of the war, an entire row of houses was rebuilt according to the townscape of Danzig from 1750

The so-called Royal Road leads from Brama Wyzynna (High Gate) in the west across ul. Dluga (Long Lane) and Dlugi Targ (Long Market) up to the shore of Mottlau. At the end of Long Lane, there is the city hall, a Gothic brick building from the 14th century the tower offers a fantastic panorama across town and bay. The Long Market with its baroque Neptune fountain is one of the most beautiful squares of Gdansk.
