A different kind of district
This district has alternative charm. Some years ago it was still a stronghold of small criminals, it is now developing into a district full of artists and masters in the art of living. The Warsaw Zoo as well as vodka factory Koneser (Ząbkowska 27/31) are also located in the district Praga where not only the Polish national drink is distilled but which also houses studios and art exhibitions. Top-class musicians perform at Fabryka Trzciny.

Ganz Praga scheint zurzeit aufgegraben und eingezäunt zu sein - die Euro 2012 wirft ihren Schatten voraus. Das Hin- und Vorankommen mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln macht dieser Umstand nicht gerade leichter, einige Trams und Busse verkehren nicht wie gewohnt.
