Bovec offers every outdoor adventure sport you can imagine, from skiing and boarding to kayaking, white water rafting, mountain biking, climbing, paragliding, caving and more…..all on your doorstep.
You can have a preview of the area by renting out The Chronicles of Narnia - Prince Caspian where all the river scenes were filmed in this very beautiful valley – and yes the water really is that colour!
Average price of for ½ litre of beer is €1.50, pizza from €5 and a bottle of local but decent plonk in €3.60
I found the local tourist board of Bovec and Slovenia generally quite complicated to use when finding accommodation. There are so many different categories and rarely are the prices shown.
