Located in the sprawling neighborhood of Beyoglu, this square is the entrance point for day- and nighttime activities

One of the amazing things to do on Taksim Square is people watching. In the evenings, it's a meeting point before starting one's expeditions into Istanbul's nightlife; during the day, myriads of shoppers pass here to enter the famous shopping street Istiklar. It's also a travel hub, since one of Istanbul's few subway stops is located here.
